Baruch College Vertical CampusThat's the date for the next FREE* Small Business Seminar being held in conjunction with Baruch College. The topic to be discussed is "Marketing to Help Gain More Exposure for Your Business". Instructor Charles O'Gorman from Baruch College's Continuing and Professional Studies program will facilitate the program. The seminar comprises a brief overview, then an active, open discussion by all attendees.

Summer Streets - August 23, 2008This past Saturday, the New York City Department of Transportation again closed Park Avenue from 72nd Street to the Brooklyn Bridge. The empty boulevard was filled with pedestrians on bicycles, roller blades, conventional roller skates, runners and walkers. Individuals and families from all boroughs and neighboring states as far away as Pennsylvania came and enjoyed the fabulous weather and the wide-open roadway without traffic.
